The goal with this template was to make a single graphic that would be dynamic enough to accommodate 3 different sizes for different social media platforms; a 1920×1480 that works well on Twitter and Facebook, a 16:9 that works well on all mobile devices and to use as a video end slate, and a 1:1 square format that is designed specifically for Instagram but works well on other platforms as well.
Deciding on the 1920×1480 was as simple as adapting the 16:9 ratio to something that expanded slightly when clicked on. From there, it was just a matter of setting up rulers to fit the 16:9 and 1:1 ratios. See examples below:
